If you are looking to disconnect and have peace and quiet (with the exception of nature) this is the place. I really enjoyed having my coffee in the back and taking in the nature and at night the stars sitting in the front.

We enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. If you are looking for a rustic place to stay with some good amenities it is very relaxing. Beds were comfortable. The porch was great to hang out on and listen to the sounds of the jungle (and chickens). I was skeptical at first about the open windows without screens, but we didn’t have any issues with bugs or mosquitoes (just the occasional lizard visitor). This is a beautiful area of the mountains and there’s endless areas to explore nearby.

This is a beautiful, little getaway tucked right into the edge of the rainforest, close to Utuado town center, and not far from Cañón Blanco. The kitchen is much more functional and well appointed than expected, so we cooked most of our meals there. The windows frame gorgeous views in every direction and provide lots of cross ventilation, and the roof is constructed so that the rain doesn’t come in. There is an eclectic collection of books in both English and Spanish for rainy afternoons on the porch. I basically didn’t want to leave the hammock.
