We had a wonderful stay at Steve and Sandra's cottage. It was so relaxing to be there, a view of the ocean out every window its a really special place. Location is great, a short drive gets you to the Sheepshead lighthouse loop, and lots of walking trails nearby. Not far from Bantry if you want to go to a bigger town but also lots of scenic spots less than an hour away like Mizen Head and Barleycove which are well worth a visit. Would love to go back again.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. The cottage is beautiful, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The sense of peace and relaxation is remarkable. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and the best night's sleep I've had in ages. The view from the cottage has to be seen to be believed, it's breathtakingly beautiful. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and Sandra left a lovely bottle of bubbles in the fridge for us. Steve was on hand to greet us and is a lovely friendly gentleman. We had the most wonder couple of days and will definitely return.

We hebben een geweldige week achter de rug. Het huisje ligt echt prachtig, met volledige privacy om je heen. Het uitzicht op zee, de vogels die je na een aantal dagen leert herkennen, de volledige stilte om je heen op de golven tegen de rotsen aan na, het is fantastisch en je komt er helemaal tot rust. We raden het huisje iedereen aan, al zou je willen dat je het voor jezelf kunt houden. Steve en Sandra, dankjewel.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful part of Ireland's West coast! This place was perfect for exploring Sheep's Head, it was spotlessly clean, and fuel was provided for the stove, a really cosy stay with all you would need being provided. Sandra and Steve were only a stone's throw away it we needed anything extra. Great access to the Sea only a few metres from the front door for our morning sea swim. Highly recommend!

Such an idyllic setting for a peaceful weekend away - the scenery is just stunning and the private swimming cove was amazing for a dip in the ocean. The cottage had everything we could need and felt so cosy and homely - couldn’t recommend enough.
