Alison was the most wonderful host and my stay certainly surpassed expectations. The accommodations were very comfortable and being provided with towels was a pleasant surprise. Alison and all of the guests were very kind and respectful. Alison made me feel right at home and gave great advice and insight into what to do/see in the Luray/Shenandoah area.

My first experience at a hostel and I could not have asked for anything better! Communication with Alison was perfect and she made me feel right at home the second I walked in the door. She was mindful of me being her only female visitor that evening yet I never felt uncomfortable or out of place. Left my window open and I slept better than I have slept in a long time listening to the rain on the metal roof! Was in town for the half marathon so I went to bed early and woke up before the sun came up. My next visit I hope to hang out on that awesome back porch and visit with everyone else! I will definitely be back! Amazing value, wonderful stay and awesome host!

Excellent place to stay at while doing a weekend getaway. Close to plenty trails otherthan AT, Alison is very friendly and a great co-host to her pups. Will be returning for another weekend stay.
