I stayed at Vicki’s Belvidere apartment. I was there for 1 week. Felt right at home. Not that noisy at all even though it’s next door to the fire station. I will definitely be going back for my next stay.

First night, I was terribly cold, the thermostat was not working. Next morning I let the host know and managed to be outside for the day. I came back the problem was not fixed. I followed back and thankfully the host brought me a space heater for the night. I couldn't spend time in living room because it was chilly, I sat down at kitchen table to eat but the food would get cold in 5 minutes. I eventually started carrying the heater with me in living room or kitchen but the heater would blow the fuse out. I had to spend all the time in my little room, eat, entertain myself on phone. the heat system was never fixed for the 2-weeks I had to stay there.There was only one kitchen towel, I used paper towels because there were other guests, but ran out. The bathroom tub was dirty and the shower curtain was moldy. I asked the host to replace the curtain and provide paper towels, which she did. These are basic things that an Airbnb place should provide without having to ask. I paid too much.

I must thank you for the accommodation, was near by where I needed so was much convenient place. was secure place, Had quite and peaceful sleep overnight there after long day work there. Thank you!

Overall for the money, it's a fine place to stay. Great Cuban restaurant across the street.

My accommodations were worth the amount paid. However, I did have to ask on several occasions for toilet paper, trash bags for both the bathroom & for my bedroom as well as soap for the bathroom & kitchen. Also, only the largest room has a tv. The neighborhood has it’s fair share of small “mom and pop” restaurants and even a pharmacy. I did notice more than twice, several persons under the influence of drugs almost stuck in a unnatural mannequin pose. There is a firehouse station literally next door. So please be aware of that fact. These are not complaints but are just statements. Also there isn’t an oven in order to bake or broil food. I intentionally left a crockpot in order for future guests to use. I purchased trash bags & paper towels for current/future guests. I did see a mouse/rat in the kitchen once. I let Ms. Vicki know but I never received any response about that. Overall I would give this place a 4.7 out of 5.0. I would definitely stay at this place again in the future.
