On the day of arrival, she was very flexible when I mentioned to her that we were running late driving from another state. If at any point we needed anything, Jessica and her husband both made sure that we had everything we needed for ourselves and our two dogs. Definitely would recommend, and plan on booking it the next time we plan a trip to Mass! Very homie!

We absolutely loved the Barred Owl Retreat Cabin! We were welcomed by the host and he walked us through all the unique amenities and how to use everything in the cabin, like the outdoor heated shower. Even though it was raining all weekend, the property was still so beautiful. The gardens are abundant and overflowing with gorgeous flowers and vines. The chickens happily played under bushes around the yard and the pond was full of gorgeous lily pads! We truly enjoyed the wood burning stove, as it was damp and chilly all weekend, so the heat from the stove was so comforting. We really enjoyed the wide array of movies on the shelf and loved the surround sound system! What's better than watching Harry Potter on a rainy night in a cabin in the woods with a warm fire burning? Not much else. We will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful little getaway.

This was the perfect get away cabin and Jessica was the absolute best host! She was very quick to message back if we had questions and was so pleasant. She even gave us a tour of her beautiful gardens and pond. Also, we were walking distance (probably a 5 minute or less) walk to Maple Hill disc golf course and played glow disc golf after spectating at the Maple Hill MVP Open. The instructions for the composting toilet were easy to follow and a hot outside shower was a fun experience! We will definitely come back and hope to get this spot year after year for the disc golf tournament at Maple Hill. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and beautiful retreat! Hope to stay much longer next time!
