Great house and great property right on the water. Highly recommend!

House has potential. About half of the table lamps don’t work or are broken. One of four kitchen track lights worked, so the kitchen was dark. They did have new looking carpet throughout and it was clean. Area rugs don’t look like they’ve ever been cleaned, and were dirty. Closets we’re full of old musty pillows and blankets, or owner’s possessions. All remote batteries for the TV’s were dead. Outdoor furniture on the deck was filthy. Furniture was dated but comfortable inside. Kitchen furnishings were ok too. Old paint buckets and junk were around the exterior of the house. We’re told by the property management company we would get a partial refund for all the issues we had, so far I have not seen anything reflected as a credit toward our credit card. We’ve rented a number of times from AirBnb, and this is the only time where I’ve written a negative review. We found and old guest book in one of the drawers in the living room- some comments dated back to 2007-2008 and many of the complaints about broken lamps, remote batteries, and overall cleanliness were of the same comments. Location on the water was as represented, like I said, if they would give attention to fixing things that are easy to fix, this could be a good rental experience, until they do, I would not recommend it.

The home is perfect. Very roomy for a family, comfortable and clean. The location on the lake is very private and amazing.

Our stay in August 2021 for one week at 3772 South Shore Drive in Island Park, ID was fantastic - from booking to check in to check out. We had 3 couples and this was our base to visit Yellowstone Park - we knew the one-way trip to Yellowstone was 45 minutes, but we wanted a great place to end each day, and did. We visited Yellowstone 5 times and, of course, Yellowstone was incredible, but the trip back and forth to South Shores was a wonderful visual experience also. Plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed to relax and cook for six. Would highly recommend.

It was just lovely, the view is beautiful! We rented a boat from a place on the same lake and had such a fun day tubing around. It's quiet and relaxing and we spent a lot of time watching the birds and drinking coffee on the deck. I highly recommend this lake house!
