Formerly a fishing village, Batsi has a rich and interesting history and today is renowned as being one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the island of Andros. Recognised as a cosmopolitan hotspot that has maintained its traditional charm, this stunning village boasts all the necessary comforts for a nice holiday, with plenty to see and do.
It successfully caters to a wide variety of tastes and expectations, and is suitable for those looking to relax and unwind - as well as anyone who wants to experience some Grecian nightlife. There is a plethora of shops, restaurants, tavernas, ouzeri and bars placed in the area, as well as breathtaking sandy beach that encircles the bay. Sit back and relax with a good book, or head on over to the tourist and vehicle renting agencies to explore farther afield. The village also has all the essential amenities needed - including a pharmacy, bank ATMs and post office.

The internal transportation to the island is ensured by your own means or from KTEL Bus Station to Andros, with routes between the villages and TAXI. If you want to rent a car or motorbike, you can rent one in Gavrio, in Batsi and in Chora, the capital of the island!
Despite the convenient location of the property, we recommend that you have your own transportation, in order to experience what the island has to offer to the fullest.
