There was a lot of miscommunication prior to our arrival and issue with the washer and lack of directions for how to use the shower hot water regulation set up. However, John responded to all of the issues and he took our clothes to get laundered for free as well as giving us a 500 euro refund.

John’s place is perfectly located in Dublin, as there are hundreds of restaurants and pubs as well as major museums within a five to thirty minute walk, depending on your preference. The modern interior has plenty of space, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and incredible views of the waterfront including a large balcony. So on one hand you have proximity to the urban interior of Dublin, and on the other a private, quiet place to stay. We could not have had a more perfect experience.

Great spot to be close to city center but still a peaceful little spot by the grand canal. Gorgeous balcony and lots of space to lounge and enjoy the view. Amazing little treat basket left by host and plenty of cooking utensils if you plan to cook. We couldn’t get the tub jets or anything to work, maybe we just couldn’t figure it out, but besides that, great spot! Thanks!
