great place to stay! super clean and Buffy really thought of everything to make the experience that much better. it is located right next to a ton of vineyards and 15 min drive to longhorn state park which is super cool! highly recommend, if you want the whole place to yourself for your family I definitely recommend renting out both sides of the duplex! The hot tub was also an amazing way to end the night and relax. ☺️

What a gem! Buffy’s place was more lovely and charming even than the photos. Super clean, well stocked with linens and everything else, clearly the host has thought about her guest experience. The kiddos absolutely loved sleeping in the bus “room” (mom and dad were a little jealous)! The water was some distance away but the flip side was there was plenty to explore, especially if you’re a rockhound! We’d gladly book again in the future.

Amazing place to stay, Lake Buchanan area is a serious gem in the hill country. We rented both units from Buffy for the weekend where my father and all his friends could stay. They raved about the comfort of the beds, how there was everything you needed in the units and can't beat the location right on the water. If you're planning a trip in lake Buchanan this is definitely the spot to do it! thanks so much Buffy and John for being incredible hosts, we will be back!
