Nous étions 7 amies en région lyonnaise pour le week-end et avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison! Malgré sa situation en bord de route très passante, nous étions parfaitement au calme dans les chambres et les espaces de vie. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et tres agréable. La cuisine est très bien équipée et charmante. En l’espace d’un week-end nous avons pu profiter: d’un feu de cheminée en soirée quand il faisait frais le vendredi soir, de l’espace cozy de la véranda alors qu’il pleuvait des cordes le samedi matin, et d’un déjeuner au jardin avec moment de détente dans la piscine le dimanche après midi au soleil! Le petit livret d’accueil comporte toutes les informations nécessaires sur la maison, et nos hôtes nous ont très gentiment accueilli a l’arrivée pour nous remettre les clés. Très bon séjour

A lovely house, about 25 minutes outside the centre of Lyon. We had some great weather when we were there and so we were able to make full use of the pool. The town of limonest is quiet but very nice, with a few good restaurant options and a shop.

Jean-Pierre’s house is beautiful and set in a quiet village about 40minutes by bus from Lyon. The trip was cheap and easy on the bus/train outside the door. The house was best suited to 3 couples (and up to 4 children) and the bathrooms suit the age of the building but are a bit limited. There are stairs to access the bathrooms and a single toilet which could be a problem for people with limited mobility. The kitchen, lounge area and pool/garden are amazing. Everything is very well kept and beautifully decorated. It was a pleasure to stay in this old typical French house for 10 days. The hosts were exceptionally helpful with our check-in and leaving. We arrived and were met on time by Christoph. We were guided through the house from top to bottom. Instructions were available on anything we needed to know regarding the appliances and swimming pool. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering. The large dining table is perfect for large groups of people. We felt very relaxed and comfortable during our stay. Pleasant,private garden. The swimming pool is a huge asset. Regular bus service to surrounding towns is not far from the house. Making it easy to get around if you don’t want to use your car. Great selection of local shops. Bakery & Supermarket were excellent. Peaceful, relaxed village suitable for families. Would highly recommend this Airbnb property for a holiday base.

Well equipped in the kitchen, the host is very attentive to put bilingual instructions everywhere. However it is not well cleaned before our arrival. The smell of dust though all the windows were opened. When touching the table in the living room, the fingers are black. Quite some leaves in the swimming pool as well. The isolation of noise is poor (hear the clock from the church near by all the nights and the second day of our stay (wed)the noise of gardenning from neighborhood starte before 8 o'clock. Only one toilette for a house which could host 8people seems not enough. The location is good, parking in the road (blue zone) . In all, quite an old house seems no one lives there for a while, not looked as morden as the pictures shown.
