This place is so beautiful and peaceful. We were there working a lot, but all I wanted to do was come home and sit on the relaxing porch and look at the amazing view. Nestled in the woods we had tons of wildlife to watch and felt like a little cabin getaway.

We enjoyed the rustic feel of Sandy's property. It was secluded with nice views. Noise from I-64 was a little loud though.

While this house had a certain charm about it, there were enough negatives for my rating. First and foremost, I was notified by the host day before checkin that there is an additional charge of $20/night per person over 2. This was never disclosed up front nor reflected in the original booking charges. The house sleeps 6 and I suspected only 4 would be there, but I put 5 attendees and was told I’d be charged an additional $120. This review is being posted before the deadline and so far I have not seen these charges hit my credit card, but I will contest them if they do. Concerning the house, the microwave oven did not work and the bottom tray to the dishwasher was broken (missing a wheel that I found at checkout). An older shower & faucet had noticeable drips. While secluded from other houses, the house was too close to the interstate noise for my liking. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space. Nice kitchen and back porch area.

It was a great cabin situated on top of the hill. It has everything you need to live and feel at home. My daughter loved the record player and the collection. It has a printer and internet was good. The view from the porch is beautiful. The only issue is that it was hard to find the property. The cabin is not on the midland trail road, but on a unpaved gravel road which is parallel to the midland trail. Apparently, it was the old midland trail road before the new one was laid. The property is on top of the unpaved road and it has two columns identifying the property. Once we pull into the driveway between the columns, it goes all the way in and then you will find the house.

A cozy and lovely place to relax. Had a couple of glitches during our stay but Natalie was a huge help and very friendly. Very spacious home. Beautiful views.
