The carriage house was exactly as depicted. It was very comfortable and clean. The location cannot be beat. We walked to the waterfront and enjoyed all the entertainment and restaurants the area had to offer. We took the free trolly to the Metro to visit Arlington Cemetery and the National Mall. We had no issue getting in and Thomas told us to call if we needed anything - which we did not. Everything was great! We'd definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed Thomas’s upper carriage house. It was clean, comfy and exactly like the photos. We spent 2 nites in Alexandria after a busy 4 days in DC and enjoyed slowing down and enjoying the location which is steps away from King St and very close to the River. Very close to all of the fun but also very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend staying here!

This was a perfect location for exploring Alexandria and renting e-bikes to ride to Mt. Vernon. Thomas's flat was charming and comfortable. Parking was the only significant nonideal aspect. We either had to pay $35 for the parking garage for 24 hrs, or park overnight in a bank parking lot and move to the parking garage before business hours in the morning. Despite that, we would stay here again. Thank you for hosting us!
