Akrotiri is absolutely the best part of the island for peace and quiet, but still with access to so much. The Cave Villa was pure luxury, and a real home away from home. It has so many positives and the advert just doesn’t do it justice. A semi-private entrance, with a sun patio and swimming pool with mini waterfall. A bonus is an upstairs private shaded lounge for when it’s too hot, and it has a private Jacuzzi with bubbles. The property itself is absolute luxury. The showers are literally what you’d find in a 7 star resort, everything has been thought out, from the entrance to the sleeping area, lighting, warm floors (which on chilly days are pure bliss!) The kitchen and living space are well catered and fit for four adults easily. This is real luxury and that’s why I can recommend this easily. The staff were brilliant from before arrival and after leaving. Bringing complimentary drinks to give a flavour of the island. Breakfast was prepared each morning and it was fantastic. There’s something on the menu for everyone to choose. What genuinely lovely welcoming people. Gianina is a star, welcoming and helping us because we were ready earlier than normal check in. She showed us around the other facilities, like a massage area, and indoor warm indoor pool with a waterfall and lap pump. Showers for before and after your massage and a mini gym for those who want a workout while away. Brought complimentary welcome drinks and gave advice on where to go and how to get there. So helpful. This is the kind of place I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I will definitely go back, no question. The. Okie from the nearby road faded away after a while but now I’m just looking for things to knit pick. Overall this is 10/10.
