The common areas are cluttered, old stains and mold around upon arrival. I know that the latter is also due to Singapore’s tropical climate, but the general mess of the kitchen and bathroom felt quite unwelcoming. The room itself was superficially clean when I arrived, but could still find a lot of hair from the previous tenant. I had a friendly welcome, but after that not much interaction with the host and other flat mate. The room is very loud and bright at night from street noise and lights, so prepare to sleep with ear plugs/sleeping mask if you are a light sleeper. I wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay.

Location is good, bus stop below the block and walkable distance to hawker centres and neighbourhood shops. The room can't be locked from the outside. As the room is just near the corridor, so can be very noisy at night with traffic light sound and with vehicles passing by at main road. Kitchen is messy and sink area is not clean, there are alot of ants in the house. Shared common toilet is small and water from shower head is very weak. Overall, the house is poorly maintained.
