Beautiful house with loads of family space & friendly, thoughtful touches. We stayed for Christmas. When we arrived the house was all decorated with the table all laid out with candles and flowers. There were mince pies, a Christmas pudding, a giant turkey roasting tin and even some treats for the dogs! The Kitchen was brilliant with lots of practical dishes/bowls etc. perfect for cooking Christmas dinner. The house has under floor heating which was lovely and with the AGA meant the house was toasty & warm. There is a massive garden out the back and lots of lovely walks straight from the house. We brought two dogs and their area was spacious and practical. The rooms upstairs were lovely and big with plenty of large fluffy towels. Thank you Claudine and family, we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend to anyone else thinking of staying here.

Lovely spacious house with heated outdoor swimming pool, very large garden and plenty to keep children of all ages occupied. Plenty of local walks and commutable to London. Very helpful and friendly host.

Claudine her house is a wonderful spacious place with a lot of options to really enjoy yourself and the group of people you are with. The kitchen was the main place for all of us to be, with a great casual spot to relax and watch tv while the rest of the group is cooking. The house as well as the surrounding area is wonderful. We spent new years here, so we could not use the pool, but I am sure that in the middle of summer, this place is even more nice to be at. Would definitely recommend it to any group of people looking to relax!

Fab house for large groups, so much space and a fantastic sociable kitchen/dining space where we spent most of the weekend! The garden is huge and the pool very warm, we went in even though the weather wasn't great! Claudine was lovely, and left us some welcome treats, including homemade elderflower and lots of fresh flowers. It was just great!

Very nice home in a great location which is quiet and peaceful, but close to local amenities and easy access to London. Host was great upon arrival and took the time necessary to fully show us the home. Kitchen is fantastic and ideal for entertaining larger groups. Plenty of beds all of which are comfortable. High quality finishing to all areas of the home. Huge back garden and although we visited in winter I am sure the pool would be great in the British 'summer'!!
