I stayed at Awa for a month and was so happy with my choice. It was my first time in the sacred valley and the apartment had everything I needed, clean, Carlos the host was very responsive and answered all questions I had through out the stay. His parents who were staying on the property at the time invited me for breakfast, I felt safe and very welcome, such kind people! The neighbourhood is safe and walking distance from cafes, restaurants and corner stores, where you can buy all your essentials. The private garden was my absolute favourite feature of the space, the views, the flower beds, the privacy, just amazing! Thank you Carlos and family for this beautiful place and an amazing stay!

Beautiful peaceful stay in stylish space. The bed was super comfy, there was always hot water and the gardens were beautiful. I used the hot tub once it was very relaxing. Big thanks to Carlos who was always attentive in sorting out any issues quickly and sorting my taxi.

I stayed for 1.5 months and I really enjoyed my stay. I work remotely and had no issues with the internet. The place is super cozy and the kitchen has everything you need. The place is in a remote location, but there is a nice cafe within an 8 minute walk which is on the main road. And other cafes/ places to eat about 16-24 minute walk from here. Minimal places, but the places are delicious. You can also hike to waterfall arin from here (you don’t need to walk the main road just go through the bridge right before). I had no issues with transportation because I always took the colectivos to Cusco, urubamba, pisac, and ollantaytambo. They cost anywhere from 2-8 soles. Super affordable but they stop running at around 8:00 pm ish. I would arrive at night at times and always felt safe walking solo . It’s just dark. There are many mini markets around to buy veggies and anything else you will need. The hosts are friendly and very responsive to any issues that may arise.

So peaceful! Gorgeous interior designs and lovely outdoor space. We had hot water and the wifi worked well while we were working remotely. There's not a ton to do in the area without taking a taxi, but that's kind of the appeal of staying here. Lots of campfires and stargazing! It's also a great base because it's centrally located and only 20 minutes from Urubamba, 40 from Ollantaytambo, and 40 from Pisac.

Das Haus und die Anlage sind sehr schön, bequem und warm! Sehr ruhige Anlage. Wir waren 2 Wochen hier, in der Zeit habe ich vom Laptop aus gearbeitet. Wifi Verbindung war immer top. Wir haben die warmen Sonnenstunden gut im Garten oder in der Hängematte genießen können. Ab und zu hatten wir tatsächlich kein warmes Wasser in der Dusche, das wurde aber sofort behoben von dem netten Angestellten, der sich um die Anlage kümmert. Wir konnten immer schnell per Handy kommunizieren, wenn etwas fehlen sollte. Auch Trinkwasser wurde auf unseren Wunsch geliefert, sodass wir keine schweren Kanister Wasser schleppen mussten. In der Nähe gibt es zwei tolle vegetarische Cafés, wenn man mal keine Lust auf Kochen hatte. An der Hauptstraße fahren alle 5 min Busse nach Urubamba, Pisac, Cusco für 2-5 soles. Ich würde immer wieder in diese Unterkunft zurück!
