At the last minute, we decided to switch from a hotel room to an Airbnb. Carol’s place was perfect. We were in town for my step-son’s wedding. He got married on Treasure Island. The drive there from our Airbnb was less than 15 minutes. It was also close to a variety of restaurants and a variety of places to shop. The Airbnb was super clean and stocked with everything/anything we could possibly need. So glad we made the decision to stay here.

Carol was very welcoming to my friends and I for my birthday celebration. The recommendations she provided gave us plenty to do and helped to plan out our stay. Easy to access the near by beaches and plenty of great activities around. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Carol was a VERY responsive host. The house included 2 beach umbrellas,5 beach chairs,beach towels, beach toys, cooler and wagon to haul it all in. The house had coffee filters - the triangle shape. The windows had black out curtains. Shortly after arriving a leak was noticed in the ceiling causing water to go all over the floor. Carol was responsive and had a handyman there to address the issues within a few hours. The ceiling did have a stain in this area which leads me to believe it could possibly be an on going issue. I let Carol know that the back sliding door did not lock and was only held shut by a PVC pipe, window in bedroom does not shut 100%, allowing warm air to come in. Hopefully this will be fixed. If you are someone who likes a house to be cool- this may not be the place for you. There is a note by the thermostat that states you can not put the temperature lower than 73. Backyard was nice, if the neighbor dog hears you, it will bark nonstop. The area feels very safe.

We had a family trip over Easter weekend. The weather was gorgeous and we were all very comfortable in the home. Carol was very helpful during the entire process and the home was very nice and met our needs. Our family spent some quality time together and there was lots to do in the area. The beaches were absolutely beautiful at Madiera beach which is a short drive from the house.
