I booked this on behalf of my colleagues working locally in the area. Location is great, ability to park is great. However, there are a few things that need rectifying within the property. This has been raised directly to the host with photos and the honest scoring given. Only other negative was that there was nothing to wash and dry the dishes with. I would put my colleagues back there in future? Yes, but only once things have been resolved.

Really central apartment to town. We were travelling for a family funeral and communication was excellent. Great facilities thank you

The flat was steep for the price, I have stayed in many places all across the U.K. from as far south as Kent and Devon and this was bit expensive too the lack of quality. There left over rice & food that stank left inside a bag in the kitchen coubard. No welcome sugar tea coffee milk. The carpet had not been vaccumed. The double bed was horrific as soon as you sat or even tried to lay down in it there was no support and the springs just dug in too you ( I am not exaggerating I had to buy a think diver from B&M to give it more depth to stop the springs digging in ) and also the front of the drawers in the other bedroom unit come away in your hand and unusable. The fridge ( not the freezer ) was ice frozen solid. There was huge water damage from roof to floor damp by the window on the right hand side in the living room and it seeped in too the 2nd bedroom wall. And found dirty hairy cream blankets by sofas !

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The property is very close to the train station which meant we were able to travel to other places very easily. Also very close to local shops such as Asda and Lidl which made it easy to get things when they were needed. The apartment is a great size, big living room and well sized bedrooms. We had an issue with the door locking itself when we were heading out, but this was eventually sorted and dealt with after getting in touch with the owner. The apartment would benefit from a few more amenities. There is no where to hang up coats, and this was often an inconvenience as it rained a lot while we were there so we had no where to put our wet coats out of the way. Would also benefit from having a bigger dining table and more chairs, as there were three of us staying there but only two chairs for the table. We will be visiting Dumbarton a lot more in the future to see family and we will be very happy to keep coming back to this apartment.
