Host accused me if having scratches and dog hair on the couch... whole my dog doesn't shed and didn't go on furniture. would not recommend staying here, as host seems to want to create issues out of thin air. Also host was rude the entire conversation.

Loved staying at Karen’s! It’s a beautiful property with amazing views, very clean, close to town, and the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. We’ll definitely be coming back in the summer!

We loved it. Perfect for two families: 4 adults and 2 toddlers. We saw the troll and the ice castles. But we will be back. Remote and beautiful but close to cripple creek. Great appliances for cooking in. All the animal photos and decor made it super cute and fun for the kids.

We had a wonderful stay. We traveled to Cripple Creek to see the ice castles and the cabin was perfect to reach the town easily and have privacy and nature when we wanted to have family time. The cabin is clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. We hope to be back in the summer!

Karen is awesome! The house was excellent and super clean. It had everything we needed for a week stay. She has thought of everything. It was decorated for Xmas and was a perfect “home away from home”, even accommodated our 4 legged fur-babies. We even got to see the New Year’s Eve Fireworks on top of Pikes Peak for the back porch. We won’t hesitate to rent the house again.
