Our charming new home 3 bed/ 2.5 bath, the Duncan House is a home away from home for guests looking for comfort and charm during their stay in Charleston. Experience all the modern amenities you could expect and a prime location just off King St at the Duncan House! 1 block from King St 5 blocks from the Medical University of South Carolina 15-minute walk to CofC Campus 20 minutes from Charleston Int'l Airport 20 minutes from local beaches Winner of 2022 Carolopolis Award Permit Number: 03955 The Duncan House is a part of the Revival Street Collection, a site of historic homes which have been beautifully renovated and ‘revived’ from their Victorian era glory days. Following the path down the driveway to the Duncan House you are greeted by the cottage’s welcoming piazzas, an architectural staple here in Charleston, where you can sit and catch the breeze, chat with friends and family, and make your way in. This three story cottage’s living and dining spaces are found on the ground floor. Through the front door, a quaint living area features comfortable seating for 6 on the sectional and adjacent chairs, a large flat screen tv, and includes access to the ground floor piazza, making indoor/outdoor living easy and accessible…perfect for entertaining your group in between activities! Open to the living area is the dining area and kitchen. A large wooden high-top table with seating for 6 greets you as you follow through to the open classic style kitchen. The kitchen, equipped with a deep farmhouse sink, and modern stainless-steel appliances is the perfect place for a group to have a night in and cook the most gourmet meal you could want… or better yet have a private chef over to do the cooking for you! On this floor you will also find the half bath and laundry closet just off the dining area. Heading up to the second floor, you will find two of the three bedrooms. Both bedrooms include one full size bed, a closet, and separate access to the second floor piazza. A “Jack and Jill” style bathroom connects the two bedrooms and features bright natural light, a tiled walk-in shower, and pedestal sink. Up on the third and final floor of the home is the master suite, and all the space to sprawl out that you could need! This master suite feels very private being on the third floor, and is great for guests that need to work remotely at the large work desk in the room. The room is equipped with a large king bed, closet space, an en-suite bathroom with a tiled shower/tub combo, and dual vanity.

The Duncan House was a great place for our group. It is set back from the street in a peaceful courtyard with a historic Charleston feel. The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb locations - this house was my favorite by far. We chose this Airbnb because of its proximity to my son’s rental. Not only was it close to him, this location is wonderful and close to great restaurants. And it comes with a parking spot. This yellow house is like a hidden gem in the middle of downtown Charleston.
