The house is located in Parakopi of Syros, an area where you can find several mansions and neoclassical houses.It is located 10' drive from Hermoupolis and 5' minutes from the nearest beach, that of Finikas, where you can find markets for anything you may need as well as restaurants and bars where you can enjoy your meal or drink, with a view of the sea. Historically, the house has seen the island of Syros flourish in the 19th century with the development of crafts, shipping, tanning, the development of construction activity, the establishment of schools, clubs and theatres and the decline of the island shortly after the dawn of the 20th century, reaching total destruction in 1941, during the second world war. In the house you will find 3 masticha trees (whips), a legacy from the Chians who arrived on the island after the destruction of Chios in 1822, who are the main culprits of the economic development of the island .You can stay on the ground floor of the Neoclassical building, which has been preserved since then, living a unique experience. The house can accommodate up to four people as it has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. It is decorated with antiques such as furniture and objects from different decades of the last 128 years . From his side, the guest should be careful and use with particular respect the aforementioned objects as the value of some of them is invaluable and their replacement is impossible. You can also enjoy your coffee in the excellent atrium located to the left of the main house or in the excellent garden surrounded by marble and pine trees. As for the parking , you can park your vehicle in front of the house .This is a special experience and not just an overnight stay in an accommodation .
