I enjoyed my stay here with my family. I also took my two dogs. The home had a small gated area for the dogs to enjoy being outside, but not in the wooded area. Kitchen had basic utensils and pots. Went during the winter and the house was well heated the entire time and had hot water for showers. We had a relaxing time and it was quiet and peaceful. Jo was helpful in recommending places to go hiking and shops in the town of Marshall. Loved my stay. Sad to leave.

Great stay in the mountains! 10 mins from the town of Marshall, which has great Cafés. Less than 30 mins away from hikes and asheville.

Great place! Perfect for the 5 day trip that we stayed at Jo’s, close enough to downtown with little shops and near Asheville, yet still get the remote mountain feeling in this quiet Airbnb. I recommend and look forward to returning :)

Wake up for the sunrise. If you get a clear morning, it looks great coming through the leaves and huge windows. I would recommend this place for anyone who just wants to get away. We sat outside most of the evening just listening to nature.

After accomplishing what we were there to see we were looking for some suggestions. Jo gave us several ideas (enough we couldn't cover them all) and they were each great. Instructions on how to get there are important to follow and he did a nice job of detailing that. It is a nice secluded place with great views.
