We traveled to Melissa's house with our parents this house was PERFECT. The location on the beach is private and beautiful. We saw whales jumping while sitting on the couch and had turtles resting on the beach right outside the house. The sound of the waves were loud — the perfect noise to fall asleep to! Melissa was able to put the two double beds together and create a king in the downstairs bedroom. All rooms had a great view with privacy. The garage bathroom, shower and laundry room were added bonuses! The location was just outside of town with restaurants, grocery store, skydiving, public beaches, food trucks and more. We are not big swimmers, but if you wanted to go swimming it is a short walk to a spot where you can go snorkeling. We loved staying on the north shore and going to Waikiki for the day. Make sure to check Google Maps for traffic and avoid rush hour. Otherwise it is approximately 45 minutes to get downtown.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous home, the location is unbelievable - what a treat to walk right out the back door onto a gorgeous beach, the views were incredible and a short drive to Haleiwa. Melissa was a wonderful host, super responsive, proactive with sending instructions and house info, and friendly. She checked in several times during our stay to ask if we needed anything - and made us feel at home. The house is lovely and just as pictured, we had everything we needed and more from a fully stocked kitchen, extra towels + linens, pack-and-play, surfboards, gear, and more! This is an ideal place to spend your holiday - we'll be back! Highly recommend!

My family was STUNNED at the beauty, set up and location of this place. I do believe they said I’d “hit the jackpot!” with this amazing find. The entire back wall of the house is essentially a wall of glass that opens to ocean breezes and the lulling sound of waves. Step out onto a soft manicured lawn protected by a stone wall just above the beach. Fabulous outdoor seating, grilling, sunset and rainbow views. Beds are comfortable and the garage bathroom and shower is a big step above. No feeling bad for the kid who got the room w that bath. We shopped locally and cooked most nights. Modern appliances and well stocked kitchen. Gas grill works well. Outdoor string lighting a bonus. Bean bag toss became a nightly competition. Local restaurants amazing. Be sure to go to Taco Tuesdays at Surf and Salsa. Fun area to explore. The local life is amazing and worth exploring. Remember to respect the locals and the island way of life and they share their paradise freely.

Melissa is an attentive and thoughtful host. Her home is stylish and comfortable with attention to detail. Every extra one might need at the beach is provided ; hats, surfboards, boogie boards, water shoes, towels, and children’s toys. The lawn area has ample seating and lounge chairs. The beach is idyllic; private, accessible, and swimmable. There is a calm cove area for snorkeling (saw huge schools of fish and sea turtles) and children to play. The kitchen is well stocked. However, if you don’t want to cook, her home is minutes from a large variety of restaurants, cafes, and food trucks. If you are going to stay at the North Shore, the location of Melissa’s home is a fantastic middle point to venture out. Great experience. We will be returning!
