MORE ABOUT OUR CABIN Remodeled in 2022...the Hideaway has a warm and welcoming open floor plan, with a fully stocked kitchen, that leads into the dining room/ living area. The kitchen has all essential cookware, dishes and utensils along with a keurig coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, electric water kettle, and hand mixer. In the console table by the front door you will find plastic plates and cups for our littlest guests. The living room has a 50" in smart TV, and a beautiful, spacious leather couch. You can find board games, DVD's, DVD player and books in our TV console. Our cabin comfortably sleeps 4 with a cozy double bed in the first bedroom and a comfy queen bed in the master bedroom. We have extra pillows and blankets in both rooms for those colder winter months. Enjoy your morning coffee on our large wrap around deck as you breathe in the fresh, clean, morning mountain air. At night, have a peaceful evening cozied up next to the fire pit sipping a glass of wine or making s'mores. If you love to shop there are antique shops and local stores just minutes away. When we first get into town, we love to stop at Maw's Produce so we can stock up on delicious local foods. They sell fruits, veggies, eggs, meats, fresh breads and so much more. You have to stop! As most places in the Mountains, we DO NOT have air conditioning as of Summer 2024. We are looking into it though. There is a ceiling fan in the living and we do provide free standing, rotating fans in each bedrooms. Easy to get around to blowing rock, appalachian ski mountain, grandfather mountain, and sugar mountain! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a getaway.
