Let me start off by saying Marianne is a great host and friend ! We moved all the way from Ohio and needed a place to stay while we were house hunting. We have 4 dogs, and 2 cats and Marianne was the only person who would let our family move in for the time being. The place is great, and lots of good hiking on the property and just minutes down the road. Her animals are all lovely and we actually gained a little more family before we left. I would recommend this place as it is nice and comfortable and great for really any type of adventure and for all my work from home people this is a great spot to just sit back and get some work done! Thank you Marianne for being awesome, we look forward to seeing you in the future!

Marianne’s place was as described. We liked the animals in the yard. On Thanksgiving morning we had a knock at the door from a neighbor who thought we were the property owners. She was upset and complaining about the animals having wandered on to the highway. I had called the owner the day before with no response so I texted and emailed and received no response. Our family rounded up the animals and got them back into the pen. Eventually Marianne showed up and unfortunately my son talked to her in a disrespectful way out of frustration. Later Marianne emailed us. She did not assume any responsibility for the lack of communication that morning or the animal problem.. She was upset about how my son talked to her. I apologized for his disrespect and explained our experience. She appreciated the explanation in a second email but still took no responsibility for the animals getting out or not responding to our efforts to contact her. Disorganized?

Marianne’s place is a nice cozy comfy get away. She provides you with all the comforts of home. The downstairs was spacious and roomy for two to four people. Our dog loved the enclosed yard so he could run around freely. The best part was the cute animals she had nearby. We were greeted by Charlotte the the pig and all the cute goats and chickens. One day behind the Casita we saw a “gang” of about 15 turkeys traveling through the field. What a sight that was for us! Thanks Marianne for sharing your cute cozy Casita with us and for sharing your brews with us. We loved them!

Marianne’s place was lovely. We’d always wanted to temporality live out in SW CO but long stay BNB prices in Durango were way out of our budget. Marianne’s place was affordable and had the charm. Wifi worked fine to work and we loved spending time with the animals that were right there on the ranch! You can interact with them as much or as little as you’d lik as Marianne takes care of them and is around if you have questions but respects your privacy. For those who love the mountains you are between telluride, silverton/ouray and canyonlands which we did all of on the weekends and only 10 minutes from Mesa Verde NP. So much to do in this area! The one thing to note is you do share a wall with neighbors which wasn’t loud while working or anything just you weren’t alone on the ranch and could sometimes hear their laugh here and there so something to note but for us the price was all worth it compared to the places around it! Amazing find!! My husband and I stayed & worked remote for several weeks while house hunting and had the best time. With all our stuff in storage this place was absolutely perfect and has everything you need! The Wi-Fi was great (a storm fried the router but Marianne purchased and set a new one up so fast). Shower is hot with good pressure. The backyard is perfect for the dog and the property is extensive and a great place to walk around. The animals are friendly and baby goats adorable! Marianne is a fantastic host. Literally anything we needed she was able to provide. She even stocked the soap and tp which is so rare for air bnb these days. She always knew what community events were happening and was happy to let us know or even attend with us. Truly a host rather than an out of state property manager. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. We were so grateful for our time and will definitely be coming back. (Only thing to note is the stairs are steep which gave the dog trouble)
