Made out of 5 shipping containers, this cabin is nestled on a 10 acre property, located 12 minutes from Downtown Mancos. Designed by the owners with thoughtful touches, you can fully relax from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a winter escape with a steam shower and wood stove or a summer getaway to go hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking and more. This unique house is the perfect spot for a family vacation, couples and singles retreats. This 3 bedroom home has a master bedroom with queen bed, guest bedroom with full bed and bunk room with twin XL bunk beds. The master has its own bathroom and the other 2 rooms share the guest bath. All bedrooms are located on the ground floor and all kitchen, living and dining is on the upper level. Each level has it's own balcony. The master bedroom has french doors that open up to the lower deck and the upper balcony is accessible off the kitchen with large open doors. Each bedroom is equipped with black out blinds to ensure a good nights sleep.

The Mancos retreat was just what we needed for a relaxing spring Break. Beautiful scenery and surroundings, the wind through the pines and the snow were very peaceful. The house was wonderfully equipped, with all the amenities you could hope for. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy peace and quiet!
Honestly would come back here. Like over and over. This was such a cool place to stay. It was super nice. There was a lot of thought that went into the designing of the place and the interior design. Wood stove was something I didn’t know I needed but it was awesome. The land was great. Especially with my dog. He loved being able to run around. The house was so nice and well thought out. Kitchen was amazing. I loved everything.
Sonia’s place was great- easy to find with the instructions, super clean, beautiful surroundings. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Hosts thought of everything we would need before we needed it.
I dont know if I should ramble about Sonia and Matt or the container home first! First off Sonia and Matt were amazing host. they messaged after a day we had arrived and asked if they could do anything to make our stay better. I answered no because everything was great. they responded quickly if we had any questions. my boyfriend was curious on the container home and Matt was happy to answer his question. which was awesome. the recommended a brewery after snowboarding. Ska brewery. and let me tell you the place was pretty rad. the container was more beautiful than what we were expecting. super clean and the windows were awesome and the master bathroom was amazing. it was nice to see the kitchen amenities were up to date because not every airbnb has those things. the bed and pillows were comfy. big plus. The heated floors were an essential. overall the place was amazing.
Gorgeous home! So peaceful and warm. Hosts were incredible…super responsive, friendly and helpful. Loved it and hope to come again regularly!

This modern cabin is on a 10 acre property in a proper neighborhood. All properties are a minimum of 5 acres, therefore all neighbors have a good distance between them.
Within 3 miles of the property is a small reservoir for paddle boarding, trails for hiking, biking and dirt biking. Just at the end of the street is Forest Service trail access. There is also an amazing cross country skiing track close by, Chicken Creek Trailhead.
Just 12 minutes drive away is the town of Mancos where you can dine, shop and listen to live music at the local Mancos Brewing Company and Fenceline Cidery. Mesa Verde National Park entrance is just 7 miles from the town of Mancos where you can book cliff dwelling tours or walk the park yourself. Phil's World Bike Trail is home to some amazing mountain bike trails located just outside of Cortez.
If you are looking for a Ski holiday, this is a great home base for Telluride Ski, Purgatory Ski and Hesperus Ski.
From the cabin, you can take day trips to Telluride, Durango, Dolores and even Canyonlands and Arches National Park in Utah!
There is parking on the property for 3-4 regular size vehicles. Can accommodate trailers and campers as well. Please note, we are located on a dirt road and your car will get dirty. In the winter you will need AWD or 4WD. In the summer, any vehicle will work.
