We had a great time staying at Nick’s place. Super convenient to Mesa Verde National Park and the perfect respite from our everyday. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and the views. The wood stove and plenty of dry wood was a nice surprise. A must stay!
Beautiful and fun place—comfortable, well-stocked for all our needs (more fluffy towels than we needed, kitchen implements and dishes including wine and cocktail glasses), fun games and 1000-piece puzzle that we all enjoyed). We loved the interesting architecture and decor, the wood-burning stove and the huge windows. Great location—we skied at Purgatory, bathed in Durango Hot Springs, snow-shoed and rode the gondola at Telluride. You do need a car as it is not in town—but we loved the peaceful environment near Mancos State Park and National Forest. Witnessed amazing star show at night. Host responded rapidly to questions and brought us something needed within hours of request. Very professional. Highly recommend.
It was a great experience to stay in Nick’s house. He is very helpful and fast response when we have any questions. The cats on property are so cute and friendly. Will highly recommend this place to my friends~
This cabin is very peaceful. I feel like the homeowner was an artist, because there are some really unique characteristics about the cabin that make you feel like he put extra thought into everything. The kitchen is huge, and everything is included so you can cook with no worries. The house was very clean. When I stay at Airbnb’s, I always bring extra linens because that’s where they don’t spend money. I can’t tell you how many times I slept on a decorative pillow and didn’t have a top sheet and the duvet comforter has never been washed. In this case, I didn’t have to use my linens. Everything was there and clean. +Plus, they had extras. This place is about a 45 minute drive to Durango and a 20 minute drive to Mesa Verde park. There is a coffee shop/bakery in town that you cannot miss out on!
Just outside of Mancos State Park, you'll be tucked away in a rural environment. About a 10 minute drive to downtown, where you can find eateries, grocery stores, shops, gas station, etc.
Please note, there are 2 homes on the property with long term tenants. They will respect your privacy and we ask that you respect theirs in return.

I was born and raised in SW CO. After some traveling & finding myself, I've settled in Mancos to raise a family. Out of a love for my tight knit community, I created Sage Properties which allows me to care for the homes of my neighbors and friends while welcoming visitors to area.
