Bishopsteignton is an excellent base for exploring Devon, with easy access to the sea, to Dartmoor and to Torquay and Exeter if you like. The Loft is spacious and beautifully appointed, perfect for two. Although open plan, there are spaces in the apartment for one person to have some downtime. Jackie is friendly and highly professional - although the space is very private, with your own front door, you feel cared for because she has paid attention to every detail. When the weather is unhelpful, the Loft feels like home, and a room with a view.

We stayed a week at Cedar Cottage and it proved to be one of the best, if not the best, places we've ever stayed.  It was a very large attic space beautifully designed to provide everything you could want for a self contained apartment with plenty of head height and splendid views across the Teign River, just as Jackie's photographs show. It's so absorbing to just stand and stare. The private entrance at ground level encompassed plenty of room to store shoes, luggage and incidentals. The area also housed plenty of picnic equipment (chairs, blanket, cool box, drinks containers and more than I can remember) should you forget to bring your own stuff for a sunny day out. The furniture and fittings were all good quality and comfortable, especially the beds. It was all very stylishly arranged with beautiful house plants and plenty of tourist information and general reading. I personally enjoyed reading in the comfy chair with foot rest on the "landing" of the apartment with roof window above

Fabulous accommodation, I cannot stress enough how delightful the place was with stunning views. We felt at home straight away with personal touches by Jackie who is an excellent host. The facilities are great and the beds were super comfy with lovely linens. In the kitchen there was everything we needed and some edibles supplied by Jackie which were much appreciated. I loved the bathroom which has cosy bath and shower all clean and tidy with extra bits in case we had forgotten any of our things. Jackie is so thoughtful and helpful nothing was too much that we felt relaxed instantly, and when I plan my next holiday down there this will be the place I will rush back to gladly.

We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked to come back. Jackie went above and beyond on the finer details and all the little touches made it! The breakfast items were delish! stunning views..... instant relaxation!

Perfect in every sense. So many little details were covered and provided. Jackie evidently takes great pride in how the venue is presented and she shows immense knowledge of what her guests want. From the initial communication through directions to find the venue, instruction of how to access and leave the property, details of how to best use the property and willingness to make our stay as convenient and pleasant as possible, Jackie was a delight to deal with. Cannot recommend highly enough...though this leaves me concerned that we might already have been pipped by others when (not 'if') we want to return. Thank you so much.
