Location, location, location! Watching the sunrise from the deck every morning was wonderful. it was a very private with beautiful views. Great coffee shop, restaurant and small market all very close by and Hanalei only a short drive. We had a great stay.

My wife and our two adult children stayed here the week before Christmas. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty to do, away from the crowds, yet close enough to Hanalei for anything we needed. We walked to Tunnels beach. Did some snorkeling. We took the shuttle to the State Park and hiked the Kalalau Trail. That trail is no joke! Thanks for a great stay Steve! We will be back. Maybe we will try Spring or Fall next time. ;)

Perhaps one of the most lovely places we’ve stayed. Can still hear the waves, and see the incredible views. So comfy for our adult daughters, their spouses and 11-month-old grandson. Lots of thoughtful touches, (like spare batteries!)plenty of beach towels, chairs, and steps from the beach. Great kitchen, and very homey. Thanks, Steve! Everyone wants to come back..The master bath views and private balcony was unexpected and so appreciated.

We'd loved our stay!!! The house is spacious, tidy, and you can't beat the location. We loved the open floor plan, windows and deck. There was more than enough room for 6 of us, but we did bring air mattresses so our teens could sleep separately. This was probably the best-stocked rental I've ever been in. The listing says it's one level living, but that is all on a second level after you climb a really tall set of stairs, something I wasn't expecting post-knee surgery. But, the views were amazing. It is out of town, next to Hanalei Colony resort, in a quiet area. Most days we had the beach to ourselves, which was lovely, but the winter water is a little rough. We spent mornings at nearby Tunnels (spectacular) & lounging out back in the afternoons. Restaurants were a 15 minute drive, but the house is well equipped for cooking. Only negative is no AC. Nights were fine with all the windows open & fans going, but afternoons were toasty inside. Steve was an excellent host! We'll be back.
