We had an incredible time at Michael’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Michael made us feel exceptionally welcome and went above and beyond as a host. Not only did he take us out on his boat on the bay, but we also had a blast tubing behind it—an unforgettable experience! The cabin itself was snug and inviting, equipped with a lovely bar and dining table that doubled as a great workspace. The Wi-Fi connection was strong, which was a plus for us. Although the huts were a bit sound-permeable, this minor issue did not detract from the overall comfort and charm of our stay. One of the highlights was how well-maintained the area was—free from mosquitoes and with all amenities functioning perfectly. Whether you are here for relaxation or adventure, this place is priced very fairly for what it offers. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Michael is not just a super host but a great person to be around. We look forward to returning and exploring more of what Bacalar has to offer. D

Lovely room, well equipped kitchen, excellent location, good value. We had a night bus at 11pm and the host let us use the facilities until then, which was really kind. Highly recommended!
