We had a fabulous stay here, and luckily were blessed with perfect weather. Elliot was a great, accessible host. House had everything we needed, location was great, very private and so peaceful and quiet. Deck was fabulous. Was awesome having the option of a boat too. We had 2 adults, 2 young children so was perfect for us. Only suggestion I have is for curtains/blinds in the alcove where the bunks are- didn’t affect our stay though. We hope to be back one day! Thank you :)

We had the most amazing 7 nights at Elliots place! It was soooo peaceful and relaxing and we felt really tucked away from everything which I loved! The place is definitely quirky and bachy feel but we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The outdoor deck is amazzzzing - under cover but great for shade all throughout the day. Elliot is also really good at explaining things when you get hold of him…. I can tell the relaxed nature of Great Barriers is super “chill” and this is evident in everything we saw and visited at GB. Elliot allowed us to use anything at the house that we wanted to and was open to chatting when he could. We had 4 of us (all adults incl 2 teens who are adult size) but I think the house is more suited to 2 adults and maybe a small child. The spaces and ceilings are low so need to be careful if you are over 6 foot tall - as you won’t fit in the shower. Over all - it is relaxing, off the beaten track, off grid. thank you Elliot for letting us stay x

Elliot’s place is in a lovely peaceful setting and with everything you need in the quirky cottage. Great communication, would recommend.
