Centrally located in Joplin, we are less than 5 minutes away from Joplin High School, the public library, Walmart, Rangeline Road, and downtown Joplin. And, just 10 minutes away from Missouri Southern State University and Ozark Christian College. Our space is well equipped and cleaned/disinfected to make anyone feel at home and welcomed- there’s a washer and dryer, air fryer, two true Hepa air purifiers, and unique, local decor that makes our space a home away from home. We wanted a space where family and friends could stay, but also opened it up to anyone who needs a peaceful, comfortable, safe, and clean place to rest. As an added safety measure, each guest receives their own unique door code which expires upon their check-out time. No two codes are ever alike.

The outstanding feature of our stay was Mary & Dave's kindness, courtesy & flexibility. We have no hesitation in recommending their house to future guests.
Mary is a FABULOUS host! She provided a highchair and diaper pail for the baby and offered to set out a pack and play! She was so sweet and down to earth in her communications! I would stay there again! The Joplin history that adorned the walls was awesome and included a map of Joplin and amenities! It sparked conversation and provided an interesting look at the city!
Cute, extremely clean, stocked up home! Had amenities we didn’t even think we needed. The hosts went above and beyond providing everything possible a guest might need. It really felt like a home away from home! It was perfect for 5 of us for a quick overnight stay but we could’ve stayed a week in the home. We know where to stay when we pass Joplin again!
Glitter left all over house, foun trash behind night stands etc, other than that probably should get a new dishwasher but over all not that bad
The place was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We would highly recommend staying here.

Centrally located, our place is only a 2 minute walk away from a local, frozen treat stop (YUM). You can see it and Joplin High School as you sit on the front porch.
The best way to get around is by driving so if you are flying in, be sure to rent a vehicle or you might end up paying more to Uber/Lyft.
If you have more than one vehicle, our street parking is super easy and free- park in front of or at the side of the house. The driveway fits one vehicle.

Hi! I’m Mary, my husband is David, and we have a three year old son and a sweet, chunky newborn! We are all born and raised in Missouri and currently live in Joplin. I’ve lived in Joplin for 29 years. I used to be a teacher at our local, public high school and then at one of our private schools. I love traveling, spending time with family and friends, and helping guests feel welcomed and at home in our space.
