Quinta Das Arvores is a beautiful haven with unspoilt views down the valley of Vale de Boi yet close to the N125 and local amenities. Situated in the National Park and near the fabulous beaches and surf of the Western Algarve, the villa is set in 2 acres of rural grounds with ancient cork oak and fruit trees and has a large terrace and swimming pool at its heart. Despite being at the centre of this popular tourist destination you will find peace and privacy here. A newly refurbished, stylish and spacious 2 bedroom self-contained apartment within a traditional Portuguese villa. The apartment has its own separate access, outside dining area, and use of a large swimming pool and terrace, shared with one other one bedroom apartment. We, the hosts also live on site (in the other half of the villa) and we and visiting friends and family occasionally use the pool. The apartment has a double and a twin room, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a large open plan living/ dining space with kitchenette (equipped with oven and induction hob). The apartment has been sensitively refurbished using traditional materials, but has modern amenities and double glazing.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage bei Emma und Will. Schon der Empfang war super freundlich, die Wohnung sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich hat uns auch gut gefallen: der Pool war sauber, wenn auch ziemlich kühl, man kann auf der Terrasse schön sitzen und entspannen. Die Küche ist für ausufernde Kochabende nicht ausgestattet, aber hat eigentlich alles was man braucht. Bei Fragen standen Emma und Will immer schnell zur Verfügung. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, nahe der Hauptstraße, aber trotzdem von Natur umgeben. Man erreicht einige tolle strände innerhalb von zehn Autominuten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Es war ein super schöner Aufenthalt bei Emma; super Kommunikation - freundlich, schnell und herzlich, mit Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll, hochwertig und schön eingerichtet; und alles da, was man braucht. Wir haben uns zuhause gefühlt und sehr gut erholt.

Emma and William are super experienced and responsive hosts. They’ve got a stunning villa and they are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Everything is well-explained and exactly like described. Cute little details were the high-chair for the little one and all the beach toys they shared with us. We would 100% recommend and would love to come back.
We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf. Emma en Will zijn uitstekende hosts. Prima service, goede tips e.d. Accommodatie ligt perfect tov leuke strandjes (onder met Burgau en Salems) en Lagos en Sagres. We zouden zo weer gaan: een aanrader!

We are a 5 minute drive from the nearest secluded cove, Boca do Rio, and there are many more glorious beaches within a 15 minute drive. The wild and beautiful West coast is also within easy reach. The nearest supermarket is in Budens, a 10 minute walk away, and the village also has many bars and restaurants. Quinta das Arvores is equidistant from the nightlife and surf scene of Lagos and Sagres.
Whether you're searching for great surf, rural solitude with easy access to amenities or simply an opportunity to relax by the pool, this is the place for you.
To fully enjoy the Western Algarve, your own transport is recommended, but there is also a bus stop with regular buses to Sagres and Lagos close to the villa.
We are roughly one hour from Faro airport by car.
