Very comfortable and welcoming stay for the new year holiday. Lovely hosts. Check in was smooth and the location was easier to find. We would definitely come back.
We had an amazing stay, Storme was so lovely and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment is beautifully styled and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the little extras that are available during your stay.
The apartment is very clean and well presented and conveniently located near Cannon Hill railway station, so that you can walk to catch trains to Southbank, Brisbane City etc. There's also a Chemist Warehouse nearby. The hosts are very friendly, responsive and considerate. If you're sensitive to noise, the trains going by do make warning noises for the railway crossing and the water pipes in the showers in the apartment oddly make a sound like swarming bees. That wouldn't stop me from staying again though.
K'gari views is such a well designed and layout house. It would also cater for larger family, or our small group stay was perfect. Hervey Bay itself is a great location for holidays, or a peaceful retreat, but this house is just a level above. Everything was thought of and catered for. Thankyou, and we will mose definitely stay here again. It is worth the price.
Cannon Hill is a great emerging suburb of Brisbane. Well located with cafes and convenience shopping everything is on the doorstep of this suburb. With easy access to Brisbane city and the Gateway motorway you have the best of both worlds. Public transport is also easily accessible with lovely parks a very short walk away.
Quick trip to Brisbane Domestic and International Airport, CBD, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Suncorp Stadium all within 20 mins drive and the Gold Coast beaches are only an hour away!
200m stroll to the local train station, this train can take you to explore South Bank Parklands, Qld Art Gallery and Brisbane Museum or continue into Brisbane City where you’ll find plenty of things to do but to name a few…..City Botanic Gardens, Brisbane City Hall, Roma Street Parklands.
Short 7 minute drive to the famous Oxford St, Bulimba which is lined with cafés, boutique’s and restaurants including the Oxford 152 hotel which is a favourite amongst the locals and visitors alike.
Alternatively, you could pack a picnic and bask in the glorious sunshine at the local park on Oxford Street.
There’s a ferry terminal at the end of Oxford Street where you can take the City Cat up the Brisbane River to various locations including the Eat Street Markets at Northshore Hamilton or University of Qld at St Lucia.
The Cross River Ferry also docks into Bulimba and can take you across the river to trendy Teneriffe.
Cannon Hill Train station is located approximately 50 metres away (although no noise in the Apartment as located on the opposite side of the building), 500 metres to Cannon Hill Bus Terminal. You have security parking for one car, visitor parking for 4 hours and minimal street parking is available, although weekends parking is better
