Another perfect stay in Valpo. This is our third time renting Daniels Place. Each time has been nothing short of wonderful. As a host, Daniel is very communicative and responds to questions almost immediately. The home is always clean and well kept, the views of surrounding nature (lake, woods) are always remarkable. Daniel keeps a set of binoculars on the fireplace which is a pretty cool thing to do. We've seen deer, rabbits, owls, geese, ducks, racoons and even a red fox. We live in Florida but come north to visit the kids and grandkids often, We're beginning to think of Daniel's place as our home away from home and will always check his availability before making any other travel plans. The space is large, open, and extremely comfortable. He has a gas chef's range that we use more than the one at home. It's everything we hope for in an Air BNB. The house was very nice. We enjoyed looking out the windows to see the wildlife. We saw deer, eagles, and turkeys. It was a very nice neighborhood with several lakes. The host, Daniel was very nice.

Dan is the man ! Very peaceful location something to note is that it’s well water so I had a shower filter with me because I’m a little picky when it comes to water i recommend staying at this place great location he even gave me the recommendation to go to the Indianna dunes like 12 miles away super pretty Dan is the MAN

Nice house with a responsive host. There were some cobwebs in the master bath shower and some dust build up throughout the house. Kitchen was missing some essential cooking gear but overall was a nice place to stay.

Our home away from home. Our daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids all live in Valpo so, needless to say, we get there whenever we can. It was our second stay at Daniels home. This trip was even better than the last one. The space is open and hospitable. The kitchen is phenomenal. We hosted our family, and our son-in-law's family for Christmas eve and Christmas dinner and it was sensational. There is a quiet office area where I spent my days (as I work while on the road). The bedrooms were fully appointed and beyond comfortable. The master bath is one of the nicest and roomiest we've seen in our travels. In wintertime, the views of the lake are terrific. The property is secluded with an abundance of wildlife. It's pretty normal to see deer on the hill while enjoying our morning coffee. Daniel is a wonderful host. He is incredibly responsive and very welcoming. We've already booked our next two trips. I would strongly recommend this property and our host.
