Check in was easy, house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable cottage for our group.

This is a lovely cottage, with a fantastic deck facing the lake. It’s a quiet and peaceful area. The beach access is rocky immediately behind the property, but there is a large sandy beach just a few metres away (that is private to the small community of cottages). The kitchen had almost everything we needed (except for a baking sheet… that would have been useful!). Everything was clean when we walked in. We wanted a quiet getaway for a few days and this was exactly right. The host was very responsive: The bbq was out of propane and when I messaged she replied immediately and the tank was replaced the next morning. A couple of minor things: the screen on the patio door needs a small repair. And the TV has a shadow line down the centre which detracted a little from our movie night. It’s still watchable though.

We had a great time. We were relaxed and if I had any questions she responded immediately. We had a major appliance quit and they replaced it immediately. I would definitely recommend.

Our family had a great stay at Olya's. Johnson's Beach is a quiet and peaceful area. Lots of great nights around the fire pit or hanging out on the big deck. Kids had fun chasing the frogs and toads around the property and the water is kid friendly as it's very shallow.

Good for a family vacation. A bit away from the busy st. Laurent beach. Good kayaking. Shallow waters.
