Dana is very responsive, and her place met our needs well. The views out of the living areas are of the lake. The house backs directly onto an expansive Sandy beach and the fire pit is ready for lovely evening fires. We found the bedroom we chose (adjacent to the bathroom) very comfortable. Note this is an older cabin, so there aren’t GCFI plugs in the kitchen and it doesn’t feel new, but it does feel clean; things work and it’s nicely updated aesthetically. The hair dryer is excellent. The lake properties have their own wells, and the water is very hard and seems high in iron, so you will want to bring extra hair conditioner if your hair needs conditioner, and water bottles if you’re not used to well water. Nobody local had firewood and we ended up driving far to get it, so you might want to pick some up on your way in, and be sure to select small pieces because there is not an axe.

This cabin right on the lake is a perfect getaway. It is cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is ideal for enjoying nature and relaxing. The Host Dana is friendly and helpful, giving me great tips on the area. We loved the sound of the water and the birds in the morning, and the fire pit in the evening. The views from the cabin are stunning, especially at sunset. This is a great place to escape the city and reconnect as a family. I highly recommend this place and we hope to come back soon.

Beautiful beach front cottage on a gorgeous private beach. Love that you can walk out the back door and all you see is water and sand. Dana was the perfect host. Gave me all the information prior to arrival. We will back next year!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The scenery was amazing.. hearing the waves while we slept was a real treat. Beautiful sandy beach steps out the door was a dream. Cottage was very clean and had everything you can think of! Would defiantly recommend and will be back again soon, hopefully.
