The outdoor garden is gorgeous. However, accessibility proves to be a significant challenge, with most local taxi drivers struggling to navigate to the location. For tourists without personal transportation, exploring Zanzibar becomes a daunting task. While the host is helpful in arranging rides, the reliance on him for directions adds stress to making plans or catching a ride from town. The difficult location poses a hurdle to the overall convenience of the stay esp if you are a tourist! Unfortunately, the house maintenance left much to be desired. Dusty living spaces, a greasy kitchen, and a malfunctioning kettle detracted from the overall experience. Despite the appealing outdoor features, challenges in location and upkeep may impact the comfort of potential guests. We left before our last day here because we saw multiple cockroaches at the property and stayed at a hotel for our last night.
