house/property was exactly what we expected and very comfortable. The location is close but still to the action but far enough to be peaceful.

We really loved our week at Casa Marín. The house is small but well laid out and was perfect for our family of 5 (kids aged 4,6 & 10). The large covered back patio and lush grassy garden were wonderful and we enjoyed sitting out each morning and night and grilled a few times. We also loved the option of the outdoor shower. We opted to hire Matt’s car and were pleased we did. Matt was so helpful and responsive. It was our first time in Vieques and it certainly did not disappoint! We visited some gorgeous beaches - Playa Pata Prieta, Caracas and Media Luna being our favourites. We had a wonderful family horse ride at the Esperanza Riding Company (be sure to book in advance) and a magical experience kayaking in the bioluminescent bay - we booked with Taino Aqua Adventures who were great and had fully clear kayaks. Esperanza and the beach and restaurants there were an easy walk from the house. We’d highly recommend Duffy’s. The two grocery stores are small but also walking distance.

We had a great stay at Matt's place in Vieques: listing was as described, which is always what you want with an AirBnB! Place was clean upon arrival, plenty of towels for shower and beach, and had the basic kitchen and bathroom needs for a multi-need stay. We didn't do any cooking while there, but there were the basic necessities to get things done. Air conditioners in bedrooms and kitchen worked great (a must need on the island), outdoor shower was a huge plus as well. Washer and dryer are always nice to have and were perfectly adequate. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and had ample closet space. Location was great: a five minute walk to Esperanza restaurants, store, everything you need. Host is very responsive and property manager was proactive enough to warn us of an extended power outage so we had time to plan. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay for a group of 2-4.

A great and comfortable stay at Matt’s place in Vieques. The house has everything that you would need including a nice kitchen and a large washer/dryer.
