Things to note about this home: There is a main level primary bedroom and two additional bedrooms upstairs, and while the staircase walls visually separate the two bedrooms, there is not a door to enclose them individually. This home comfortably sleeps 7 people. Dogs are allowed on a case-by-case basis for a pet fee of $50. Please let host know when booking. The English Cottage was custom built, inspired by the architecture of old English cottages and gardens. Stepping through the threshold, you are immediately enveloped in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The interior boasts a tasteful blend of rustic elegance and modern comforts. The solid oak wood floors throughout, the exposed wooden beams on the ceilings, and cream-washed “plaster” walls create a sense of authenticity, while the plush furnishings and carefully chosen décor provide a touch of luxury. The living area is a haven of relaxation, featuring a plush sofa and armchair around a cozy gas fireplace, easily controlled by a remote. There is a breakfast nook created with original church pews and wooden table, that looks out through the windows onto the front scenery and vineyard across the way. You can also use this as your sun-filled workspace with the cottage highspeed Wi-Fi. The spacious dining area has a solid wood table that can seat eight people. The tabletop is adorned with exquisite antique-like functioning hinges, evoking a sense of elegance and nostalgia. The kitchen is reminiscent of old galley kitchens in the traditional English cottage palette of sage green. Equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary utensils, it offers a seamless blend of functionality and charm. The primary bedroom is on the main level, with a queen bed. Soft linens, plush pillows, and tasteful furnishings create a serene ambiance, making you feel right at home. The spacious primary bath and the guest full bath are on the main level. Ascending the staircase, you will discover two cozy bedrooms. In one room, there is a queen bed paired with a twin bunk bed positioned overhead. The second room features a twin daybed, and nestled within an alcove is a whimsical twin bed known as "the fairy bed", adorned with fairy lights and netting. Please note that while the staircase walls visually separate the two bedrooms, there is not a door to enclose them individually. Venturing outside, you’ll discover private grounds that seem straight out of a fairytale. Immerse yourself in the fragrant blooms of vibrant flowers swaying in the breeze.
