This little spot was big enough for three generations of a family and small enough that we felt connected. We spent a beautiful and peaceful time, soaking in the birds, the stars and the close in sight seeing. Thank you for exactly the time away and setting we wanted!

Our group of girlfriends came to the ModPod as part of an annual girl's trip. It was exactly the place we needed to connect and relax. From a vibe that reminded us of days gone by to a well-stocked kitchen to a sunroom where we spent hours over coffee just catching up to a piano that (one of!) we played before dinner, the ModPod gave us memories to last us for the year. It was super easy and super comfortable. We all slept well (which is no small feat!) and enjoyed hikes locally and a tour through Harper's Ferry. We are all already planning our return!

The place met our needs for the Christmas holiday. We appreciated the no step entry for the primary bedroom & the carport that kept us dry as we unloaded. As many reviews have said, the house seemed to have everything. We have stayed in many BNBs, some of which emphasis how well equipped their kitchen is,. In 1 such place they did not even have a pot capable of boiling pasta. This house truly has everything you need to prepare a special meal. The probllem with locating the place was are fault as we had written down the wrong address. Once we input the correct address, miraculously the house appeared. We were a bit intimidated by the narrow, steep roads but the house waas just a fun adventure for us all.

The ModPod Lakehouse was the perfect place for our Thanksgiving getaway. Our son and his college roommate were not able to travel home for the holiday, so we brought it to them! There was one issue upon arrival, but Liz responded promptly and Ginger immediately took measures to correct it. Our four-night stay was very pleasant and relaxing. We especially appreciated the layout of the house and its tranquil surroundings. And the Christmas lights along the shore were beautiful. Only wish we were able to stay longer! ~ Theresa
