The building is located in a rapidly changing neighbourhood, currently being developed from an industrial area into an exciting mixed-use neighbourhood. This unique space has been transformed from an industrial loft into a bright and spacious apartment with minimalist modern interiors. You will have plenty of room with over 200 square meters, extra high ceilings and large windows facing amazing views over the bay, Elliðaá River and Mount Esja. The flat has windows facing east and west and is divided into a south wing and north wing. The south wing covers the main living areas which consist of four parts: a dining space with a large dining table seating up to 12 people, a tv-space with a 65” Samsung Smart TV and comfy seating, a reading nook with a working fireplace and finally an office with a dedicated private work space for the digital nomads. The north wing is dedicated to the more private functions, with two large bedrooms - each with a double bed and plenty of storage. There you will also find a bathroom equipped with all the essentials, as well as a laundry room with a washer, dryer and large drying area. Note, going down two stories inside the building, you will have an access to another bathroom. In the heart of it all, you will find the kitchen, stocked with all the pots, pans, cutlery and crockery you might need for making the perfect home cooked meal. From there you have access to a west-facing balcony, where you can fire up the grill while watching the sunset on a crisp Icelandic evening. Finally, going upstairs you will arrive at the loft. The loft, which has reduced ceilings and several skylights/roof lights, includes an open recreational space and the third bedroom. The Aurora borealis can be displayed through the roof windows as well, in the right conditions. The bedroom is very spacious, with two single beds, a desk and a small lounge.
