we love our short stay at Kenneth's cabin. The host family were very friendly, helpful and gracious. Thank you to Kenneth, Heilyn, and their father Alvaro. We had a great night rest and woke up to the sounds of nature. Hummingbirds and butterflies greet us at the front door. The short hike to soak in the waterfalls and swimming holes were better than a morning shower. Before leaving, we stopped in for breakfast before heading to our next destination. This is a place on our list for our next return to Costa Rica.

Sehr schöne Umgebung mitten in der Natur. Man kann Vögel und Schmetterlinge beobachten. Der Host ist freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Hütte sieht auf den Fotos und den ersten Blick ganz schön aus, sonst kann man leider nicht viel positives darüber sagen. Durch alle Ritzen und Spalten krabbeln vor allem abends Käfer, Würmer und Spinnen rein solang man drinnen das Licht eingeschaltet hat. Die Außenbeleuchtung sollte man deshalb nicht ausschalten. Man kann leider nicht Lüften und es gibt keine Moskitonetze. Es fehlen Kleiderhaken oder eine Wäscheleine um nasse Sachen zu trocknen. Die Elektroinstallation ist unterdimensioniert, wenn man warm duscht und der Ventilator läuft springt die Sicherung raus. Die Küche ist sehr minimalistisch ausgestattet, zwei Pastateller reichen leider nicht aus. Die Toilette war nicht geputzt und es waren bei unserer Ankuft überall Spinnenweben und tote Käfer in der Hütte.

Nous avons passé un super séjour! La cascade à côté du logement est magnifique et nous étions seuls ! Le logement est atypique et très jolie, le seul point négatif ce sont les insectes le soir il est impossible de profiter de l’extérieur mais cela est indépendant de la volonté de notre hôte bien sûr !

Had a great few days at Kenneth's place, the place was rustic but cosy and comfortable enough. The wifi went on and off but that wasn't much of an issue for us. The kitchen was ok for basic cooking though we did have quite a few bugs. Was great to be able to bring the dog and was a great base to explore the waterfalls and walks in the area. An outside space with some furniture would be a great addition! Communication was super, thanks a lot :)

Intenso soggiorno in mezzo alla natura, circondati completamente dai rumori della vegetazione. Bellissima passeggiata mattutina nel sentiero adiacente alla capanna per vedere le cascate, prima di una ricca colazione nel baretto vicino alla capanna. Kenneth e sua sorella sono stati cordiali e gentili e Alex ci ha coccolato durante la colazione dandoci informazioni sul bellissimo Costarica.
