I booked this place back in July of 2023 for the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse. It was only about 2.5 miles from the center line of totality and is located in the Ouachita Mountains, a part Arkansas that I'd never visited. The setting is a ridge top covered in a mixed oak and maple forest with scatterd dogwoods in the understory. The wild flowers were in bloom and we had a wild turkey saunter down the driveway one afternoon. It is off of the beaten path and very secluded. I drove a Tesla M3 to the cabin but you have to drive the 6 miles from pavement carefully on the gravel road if you're not in a truck/SUV. If you want quiet, fresh air and beautiful scenery to rest your eyes this is the place for you. If you like the restaurant scene and souvenir shopping - not so much. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable with all as advertised. Great for a couple with kids or two couples maybe. Oh, the weather was perfect for the awesome and spectacular eclipse!

The cabin is very secluded. Everything has been updated except the shower and tub. It is smaller than we expected, but still worked out fine. It was strange getting in and outta the hot tub knowing the camera is on the whole time. So mostly the kids enjoyed it. The only real problem we had is an over abundance of flies. No fly swatter to be found. It’s like the door was left open for way too long. Besides that it was great.

The birthday getaway for my fiance was everything we wanted. We were able to get away from everything for a few days and just enjoy each others company and recharge in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Mornings with coffee while sitting on the porch watching the rainfall and listening to the wildlife were exactly what we needed. The cabin was absolutely spotless, and amenities were great. Everything was very clearly labeled and instructions provided for everything. No guess-work required.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, serene getaway, look no further. We had a wonderful long NYE weekend at Tony’s cabin. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature.
