Badra House is amazing! Pak Nyoman and the kind staff are so wonderful! Breakfast is included - and it’s substantial - whether American (eggs, fruit, pancakes, and pineapple jam from a local bakery) or Indonesian (nasi goreng/ mie goreng). Your villa will be in Pak Nyoman’s family compound. You’ll have the chance to see a bit of Balinese life. You’ll meet his family members and get the most cheerful welcome from their dog, Pretty. A word to the wise - you’re in the middle of a jungle. You will see the occasional bug and gecko - everyday. That said, the shower water is hot and the water pressure is great. A lovely stay!

We loved our stay here and I recommend to others. It was lovely to stay on a family compound and everyone was so lovely and smiley everyday. Breakfast was served every morning with a lovely smile by the amazing Minnie. Try the pancakes they are great! Nyoman was reachable at all times and recommended places for laundry etc. The highlight of our trip was the little dog preeti who lives on the compound, she waited for us everyday tail wagging and was so cute especially as we missed our little dog back home!

perfect villa to stay in Ubud! the villa is much more beautiful than it looks like in the pictures, you can trust the amazing grade on this app! Nyoman and his family were welcoming and helpful. it was easy to rent scooters to them and they helped us with everything we needed, and more! I can only recommend this great place and I would definitely come back 👍
