Two more bedrooms upstairs, both with bunks, give you plenty of room for extra guests. You’ll have access to all the wonderful amenities of Sunriver, from water sports on the Deschutes to swimming at the SHARC Aquatics Center. Stroll Sunriver Village for shopping and dining, golf in any of the multiple area golf clubs, hike, fish, ski, or horseback ride. The place was perfect for a great ski cabin trip with friends! It was clean, reflected the photos accurately, and the team was very responsive when we weren't able to access the house (we were given the wrong door code but it got sorted out quickly). Would definitely stay here again!
Great stay!
This is my second time staying at a Meredith property, both times we had issues with the door code not working and having to wait outside in the cold for over 30 minutes. We were informed the fireplace was not working which was a bummer but still wanted to stay there. When we arrived and got settled in I wanted to get in the hot tub to relax and the water was a terrible shade of green. The first person we called said that they would send someone over that night. No one came and no one informed us that they would not come. The next day we were told that the water was “normal for well water”. I know people with well water pools/spas and no one has water that color green. If it in fact it was normal then it needs to be verified and given as a heads up to guests. None of us felt comfortable getting in it and we were so sore from the day of skiing. The rest of the house was lovely and as described. It’s also a shame you can’t use the garage.
This home is an excellent choice when visiting the Bend area. The privacy, amenities and space are a much better value than that available closer to Bend. The home is colorfully decorated and enhanced by the many windows on the back side of the home. We loved the beauty of watching the deck and surroundings fill up with large flakes of snow. The checkin was aided promptly by staff providing a new door code once we called for assistance. It would have been nice to have the propane fireplace in the living room working as the high ceiling draws the heat upstairs. We never did find a house number on the garage or around the front door making us initially question whether we had the right home. (It was dark when we arrived).
We stayed here for 3 nights and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was truly a perfect getaway for us. The hot tub was already warm when we got there so no pre-heating was necessary. We had trouble with unlocking the electronic key pad at the front door throughout our stay, but wasn’t a big issue. Meredith and her team were all very responsive through phone call and message. Unfortunately the fireplace wasn’t working, but again, wasn’t an issue for us at all. Meredith told us she could send a maintenance tech to come check it out during our stay but we didn’t want to have someone come out during the holiday and miss out on time with their family. The home is beautiful, and the river stream in the back made a perfect landscape to look at while having a meal in dining room. We enjoyed spending time inside the home, as well as nearby shops and tourist attractions within the area of Sunriver and Bend. 10/10 host and stay!
