This is a beautiful home. It would be a perfect gathering place anywhere -- but the experience is elevated by the fact that it is nestled in the countryside with no structures or roads visible in any direction. The kitchen/dining/living area is perfect for hanging out with family. The bedrooms are super comfortable, and the 3 bathrooms made it super easy for our big family to get ready for a family event in Salado. The front porch and the back porch are both comfortable and peaceful. The only sounds are from the wind chimes around the property. The grandkids enjoyed a hike to the creek and the toys/chalk/basketball outside. Ron sent very detailed instructions as well as the gate code and the door entry code in one message, which made it easy for us since we were arriving in 3 different vehicles for different parts of the state. Bonus (and what convinced us to choose this place) -- the friendly donkey, goat and cats!

An amazing, peaceful, entertaining stay. Close enough to make day trips to Waco and Austin but plenty to do and enjoy staying at the house. The property was so beautiful. Friendly farm animals. Refreshing lake to take a dip in. Comfortable couch and beds, enough space and bathrooms for a large group, everything was clean, cozy blankets, great AC + fans, had most everything to cook delicious meals with! Ron was very responsive and considerate!

The Modern Farmhouse is just that. The home looks pretty simple and clean lines on the exterior. Everything changes when you walk through the door! You walk into a huge room containing the living area, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped. The home is decorated in a modern and tasteful way. We enjoyed walking the property and spending time on the covered patio listening to a multitude of birds. Ron was proactive and responsive to any questions I had while I was there. One of the best hosts I have stayed with.

Yucca Hill was a beautiful place to stay at! I would highly recommend it for any group of people visiting the area. Ron was very responsive to all questions. The place itself was clean and organized. Beautiful house with large spacious bedrooms. Would stay here again!
