We were impressed by how great the AirBnB is equipped with everything you need or could ask for. We moved from the mainland and Michael even provided a litter box for our cat so we had a couple days to get our own. It was truly a great experience. You could really tell that someone put thought into everything available in the apartment. Beds were comfortable and nights were quiet. With the windows open we didn't use the A/C at all (in Jan and Feb). The commute to Honolulu did get tiring after a while as Michael warned us about before accepting our booking and I appreciate his honesty about traffic and that he made sure we were happy with the location. The only downside I could say about this place is that since it is a plantation with lots of plants and trees - which looks so gorgeous - there is a lot of noise going on from maintenance work during weekdays. But if you don't work from home like me and go to the beach a lot I guess you wouldn't even notice. Thank you so much!!

Michael was very gracious and provided my best Airbnb experience yet. He provided above and beyond expectations. The place was very well set up. It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life.

This is a hidden gem tucked away in the cooler part of the leeward coast: Makaha valley has Petra caliber mountains that produce waterfalls when it rains, stunning beaches like Makaha beach with sea turtles bumping into you & dolphins swimming by, delicious food (Countryside Cafe & Waianae Korean BBQ) & 🤩seaside venues (the beach house) & some of the kindest people on the island, Michael included. His Airbnb had everything we needed for our longterm stay, coffee, fresh towels, & soft bed linens; & some things we didn’t expect, like a bottle of Barefoot Fruitscato with a bow in the fridge to welcome us. Considerations: I can’t think of a single thing here that we didn’t enjoy. Just know that you’re in Hawaii and there is wildlife—we loved the wildlife around us like the chickens, peacocks & cute baby green geckos that are found all over the island, but it may not be for everyone. Beds are comfortable, bring your own pillow (no Airbnb’s pillows will be the same as your own)& enjoy!!😊🌺

My friends and I stayed at Michael’s place for well over 2 months and it has been really great. The place is well equipped, very clean, and spacious. There is a gorgeous beach close-by and the surrounding landscape is stunning. The place is outside of the typical touristic places, which my friends and I enjoyed. Michael has also been a great host and very accommodating and responsive. I’d definitely stay there again.

Area is beautiful, lots of places to walk. bus comes right to the front of the neighbourhood. need a car to get around anywhere though, Uber is seldom ready to pick up from here.
