Less than 2 miles from the Ouachita Trail, Black Fork Mtn Trail, & Talimina Scenic Drive. Enjoy the covered deck, fire pit, & mountain view. Has wi-fi, TV, & heat/air. Just 15 minutes to Mena’s shops and eateries. Dog-friendly (limit 2) for a $25 pet fee (must pay when booking or send message so we can request payment). Separate bedroom plus a sofa sleeper that pulls out to a full size bed. Full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, coffee pot and coffee. Smart TV and free wi-fi. Complimentary firewood and kindling for two nights for the fire pit. (We can drop off more for an additional charge.) There is a Charcoal grill on the deck (bring some charcoal). Our guests are within a 2-3 minute drive to enjoy breakfast or burgers at the Queen’s restaurant or the Rich Mountain Country store. This is an ideal location for hikers. There are multiple access points to the Ouachita Trail within 2 miles. There are three short trails just a couple miles away at Queen Wilhelmina State Park (Lover’s leap, Reservoir trail, and the Spring trail). The Black Fork Mountain trailhead is within two miles of the property. There’s a gorgeous 3 mile trail around Cedar Lake within a 20 minute drive. Our location is within a 30 minute drive to Wolf Pen Gap West Trailhead and just over an hour from Hochatown. Other day trips from this cabin include Cossatot River State Park, Lake Ouachita, Little Missouri Falls, The Blue Zipline and Farm, Board Camp Crystal Mine, Hot Springs National Park, Magic Springs, and Garven Gardens. Many guests enjoy visiting downtown Mena (just 15 minutes away) for shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops like the Ouachitas, Artisan’s, and Sherwood Bistro. Rich Mountain Community College is in Mena.
