It was a lovely ski trip with friends. The house is as described, really cozy and spacious. It is a short 5 minute drive from the resort lodge. The house was clean, organized, and fully equiped for us to cook dinner, breakfast and clean up for ourselves after. They provided some coffee as a gift and a lovely mug. We did find some rat feces in a spot, but after inspecting we couldn't find any sign of rats being present and that there actually plenty of rat traps/poison throughout the house. I do believe they do their best to keep them out, you just got to make your peace of being in a cabin surrounded by nature and that this kind of stuff might happen. They also allowed for a late check-out which helped us with some more resting time before driving back home. Would definetly recommend the place, the lake view is gorgeous, wish I had more time to enjoy a barbeque on the backyard deck.

The house was perfectly situated on a pond, and very private. But, the temp in the house was 57 when we arrived, and 57 hours later. When we did contact Highlands, they sent someone out from maintenance. He was wonderful and very helpful. We were able to get the temp up to something livable. It would be helpful if there were instructions on how to use the heating system.

Great time with the family but a little dirty not sure how often they clean the place. Mouse droppings and cob webs everywhere.

Cabin was absolutely beautiful. Was able to find it easy and navigate through the entire resort no problem.
